Our Aim is to provide everyone with the best possible opportunity to enjoy their Bikram Yoga practice. Please help us to help you by observing the following:
Our lobby opens 30 minutes before each scheduled class.
If you are brand new to our studio on your first visit, please arrive 15-20 minutes before your class to sign up, no reservations necessary.
Please be on time! Arrive on time; we understand traffic, parking and all the other obstacles that might pop up. Please allot yourself enough time for yourself to arrive the studio on time.
Late comers will be let in at the discretion of the manager, and will only be let in between breathing postures. After the 2nd set of Pranayama breathing, after this point Latecomers will not be admitted. No exceptions!!
Brand new students will not be admitted into the room late under any circumstances!
MUST STAY IN THE ROOM!This is really important. The heat can be a big challenge for a lot of people at the start of their practice. Get your body acclimated to the heat; don't run away from it. This might mean not pushing yourself too hard to start with or even sitting a few postures out. You have a lifetime of yoga ahead of you so don't try and squeeze all your ambition into one class. Pace yourself and you will do just fine.
Please sign in at the front desk every day when you first arrive.
All practitioners should be in the yoga space 5 minutes before class begins.
Please turn your cell phone off as you arrive!
Please kick your shoes off in the lobby, no shoes in locker room or practice space!
Clear water in the studio only. No glass bottles.
No pouring water over yourself during class.
All students must practice on a mat and towels.
You should not enter or exit the practice space while a posture is being practiced!!!
The yoga room is a quiet space; please no talking once you enter the room and be mindful of the noise in the waiting areas outside the studio. The yoga room is quiet before class, during class and savasana.
Feel free to use our showers before or after class.
In consideration of those with sensitivities or allergies, please refrain from wearing strong scented products while taking class.
Avoid the front row until you are really familiar with the postures, as people behind you will be copying you from there!
Let teachers know of any injuries you have before the start of class.
Do not move mats that have been laid out unless asked to do so and make sure the top of your mat is placed in between the lines on the floor not on top on the lines!
Listen to your teacher. They will be able to correct your postures, guide your thinking and keep you positioned on the right part of your mat for other students.
If you are not feeling well, please rest at home and come see us when you are feeling better.
When lying down, make sure your head is right at the top of your mat - this helps maximizes space for those around you.
Bring enough water to last the entire class, no leaving the room to refill water bottles. We sell water at reception if you don’t bring your own. Make sure you sip it slowly to avoid overfilling your stomach and only drink between postures so that you don’t disturb those holding postures around you.
Please do not ask the teacher to alter the heat or open a window or door. Trust your teacher and accept whatever you are faced with. Stay positive and you will come out feeling fantastic.
Please make sure you have everything you came in with. We do our best with lost and found items and have enough room to store items for a week before clothes and mats are donated. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Practice your yoga with a positive energy.
Please remain in final savasana until the teacher leaves the room.
